Alphabet Blasts Past $119 Billion in Q2 Revenue as Google Cloud Rockets 82% on AI Demand

Summary :

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG, GOOGL) reported on July 22, 2026 that consolidated Q2 revenues rose 24% year-over-year to $119.8 billion, marking the company’s 12th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth as Google Cloud accelerated to 82% expansion.

Google Services revenues climbed 15% to $94.5 billion, powered by 17% growth in Search & other advertising and 13% in YouTube ads. Google Cloud vaulted to $24.8 billion in revenue with operating margin expanding from 20.7% to 35.6%, while backlog surged $50 billion sequentially to a record $514 billion on the back of enterprise AI demand. Alphabet’s API layer is now serving roughly 22 billion Gemini tokens per minute, the Gemini App has reached 950 million monthly active users, and nearly 90% of the Fortune 100 have adopted Gemini Enterprise. The board declared a $0.22 quarterly dividend, and management flagged continued CapEx acceleration into 2027 to support AI infrastructure buildout including the new NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform and Alphabet’s Axion CPU.

Why Selected:

82% Cloud growth and $514B backlog make this the clearest financial proof that enterprise AI spend is still accelerating, not peaking.
