“New Tides in Qiantang River” 2022 Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit held in Hangzhou

The 6^th “New Tides in Qiantang River” 2022 Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit will be held in Diaoyutai Hotel, Hangzhou on July 28 and 29. The summit is sponsored by the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. It is being undertaken by the Construction Steering Group Office of China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, the Shangcheng District People’s Government, and the Zhejiang Provincial E-commerce Promotion Center, and implemented by Ebrun.com. The summit, which has the theme “New Pattern, New Business Format”, will feature more than 50 speakers from well-known cross-border e-commerce platforms and international brands including Alibaba, Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Google, Adobe, Topsun, Anker Innovations and Loctek, and they will share their experiences. More than 500 people are participating in the summit, including representatives from more than 30 comprehensive pilot areas and cities of Shandong, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui; the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as cross-border e-commerce practitioners and media representatives from across the country.

Zhang Guanbin, the deputy director of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce; Zhang Qianjiang, the deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce; and Wang Hong, a member of the Party Leading Group of the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, attended the opening ceremony of the summit and delivered speeches,  affirming Hangzhou’s first-mover advantage and contribution in the field of cross-border e-commerce. Hangzhou, the first approved cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone,  is making efforts to build a world-class cross-border e-commerce demonstration center, focusing on industrial ecology, empowering free trade with digitization, driving industrial development with digitization, creating a world-class digital economic and business environment, and building a digital free trade zone.
